DaVinci Rock Steady, 6 days...DaVinci Rock Steady is six days to explore Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica's tourist "Mecca" on the north coast. But alas, DaVinci Rock Steady also gives you the paradise called Portland, taking you back to nature, an adventurer’s dream, lush, green, beautiful Portland, perfectly placed between the Blue Mountains and the Caribbean Sea. DaVinci Rock Steady starts with you spending two days in Montego Bay, then we move to Portland where we’ll stay for two days and two nights, then our final destination is Ocho Rios for two days and two nights. Days 1 & 2 - Jamaica’s tourist Mecca, Montego Bay. Drop your bags at Gloustershire Hotel and be off, visit Margaritaville for a cocktail and the sounds of pulsating reggae music, or Doctor’s Cave Beach, or sail away this evening on Sunset Cruise, …though tempting to expend all too soon, reserve some energy for the next day’s move to Portland.
Days 4 & 5 – The paradise that is Portland, back to nature, an adventurer’s dream – lush green, beautiful Portland in the shadow of the Blue Mountains. Raft down the Rio Grande, or swim the “bottomless” Blue Lagoon, or taste indigenous Jerk foods at Boston. Explore the Blue Mountains or Gardens at Athenry or Frenchman’s Cove, or Reich Falls, or Nunsuch Cave and much more! Trident Hotel, with Jamaica’s only Castle, offers us its unequalled accommodations and provides the stage for three perfect Jamaican nights.
Days 6, 7 & 8 – From nature rich Portland to tourist metropolis - Ocho Rios: Visit Dunn’s River Falls or Fern Gully, a world of exquisite flora, go shopping and secure your evidence of having been in heaven, interesting art and craft items. Swim with the dolphins, go snorkelling or scuba diving, do the unique canopy tree tour, and much more. We’ll rest, if necessary, at Sand Castles resort. The perfect Jamaican nights sometimes get “hot and wild” in Ocho Rios.
